Look at the photo and answer the questions - mira la foto y contesta a las preguntas.

b) Are they all the same size? ¿Son todos del mismo tamaño?
c) How are the planets attached? ¿Cómo están unidos los planetas?
d) What's the model made of? ¿De qué está hecho el modelo?

Materials - materiales
plasticine in various colours - plastilina en varios colores
eight straws - ocho pajitas
foil - papel de aluminio
toothpicks - palillos
small pieces of card - pequeñas piezas de cartón
A4 card - cartulina de tamaño A4
Si te faltan algunos de estas materiales puedes sustituirlas por otras (hacer los planetas de otra sustancia o de papel si no tienes plastilina por ejemplo).
Instructions - instrucciones
1. Cover the A4 card with foil. Make the sun with yellow plasticine. Place it in the middle of the card. Cubre la tarjeta A4 con papel de aluminio. Haz el sol con plastilina amarilla. Colócalo en el medio de la tarjeta.
2. Make the eight planets. Use different coloured plasticine and make them different sizes. Haz los ocho planetas. Usa plastilina de diferentes colores y haz diferentes tamaños.
3. Cut the straws to eight different lengths. Corta las pajitas a ocho longitudes diferentes.
4. Stick the shortest straw into Mercury. Then stick the other end of the straw into the sun. Pega la pajita más corta en Mercurio. Luego pega el otro extremo en el sol.
5. Repeat step 4 for the other planets. The longest straw is for Neptune. Use the cards and toothpicks to label the planets. Repite el paso 4 para los otros planetas. La pajita más larga es para Neptuno. Usa las tarjetas y los palillos para etiquetar los planetas.
